Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “I purchased this Air Fryer to replace one I had for 5 years. It finally quit on me. It was more like a glass oven style. I was very happy with it, but this beats it in many aspects. I did research and read numerous review sources. This model came out in the number 2 spot in many reviews. It has a fan that adjusts to the different cooking cycles. I have found it cooks quicker and more evenly. I am able to toast bread, cook frozen foods and so many other settings. It is very quiet and cleans so easily. The inside and rack have a ceramic coating instead of the teflon. I am thrilled with this brand. I use it numerous times throughout the day and it has made my life so much easier.”
Customer Review: “Great air fryer. Very quiet compared to others we have seen/heard, and cooks things very well including crispiness of foods needing that. Very versatile, counter space efficient, and the controls on the top are a great advantage as it makes them very easy to read and use. We are very pleased with Cosori’s TurboBlaze and recommend it highly.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “When my Cuisinart toaster/fryer died I took a chance on this for half the price and absolutely love it. Cavernous in size, numerous rack and tray configurations and the french doors are brilliant and operate flawlessly. The controls take a bit of learning due to many great features, but they are intuitive and simple to operate. One knob does most of everything. I love that you can turn the light on and off and that it has dedicated preheat cycles. And on top of all that, it cooks very well. Easily the best of the 4 air fryers I’ve had to date. It also looks great and is all flat surfaces, so its very easy to clean. 3 months in its been a home run. Don’t be fooled by brand names. All your favorites sold out to private equity. They’re shell companies now. Midea is basically China’s General Electric and many of its products were designed by Toshiba. You won’t find anything close to this quality at this price. Buy it and love it like I do.”
Customer Review: “Absolutely love this toaster oven! It heats up quickly, cooks evenly, and is way more versatile than I expected. Toast comes out perfectly golden, and it handles everything from pizza to roasted veggies without a problem. The controls are easy to use, it doesn’t take up too much counter space, and cleanup is simple. I’ve been using it almost daily and it’s been super reliable. Great quality for the price—highly recommend!”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “This is a might I say a beautiful air fryer. It’s sleek, clean and very powerful. Drawer air fryers are by far the best ones to get hands down. Those giant air fryers with fancy french doors, and multiple racks pale on comparison. If you want the true air fryer experience, you have to use the drawer versions. This one cooks fast, has multiple settings, but not too many (why do I need to tell an air fryer to bake cookies?) and has a nice tinted window so you can see yours food. I was skeptical about getting an air fryer with a window because I don’t want to really see inside once it becomes a little older and worn out. I like a clean kitchen, I’m wierd. I was happy when I saw that it’s tinted, and unless you turn the light on to see the cooking process, you cannot see through. Big bonus points for that! It cooks fast, and it cooks thoroughly! The crisp it gives garlic bread, chicken with skin, and pizzas is pure gold. It does not over cook, it’s just a perfect crust, and temperature inside. I got this on sale for like 80$, and it’s 9 quarts. I’m VERY happy with this purchase.”
Customer Review: “Honestly this has been a great air fryer! Me and my girlfriend have been using it almost everyday since we go it. All the features work great and we especially love the reheat options. If you food prep this is definitely helpful. It heats up quick and cooks just as quickly. We have made steaks, chicken, pork, bacon, pizza, and pretty much anything you can think of in this ary fryer. And so far everything we have cooked has come out perfectly cook. It’s size is perfect for cooking meals for about 4 people and it actually fits perfectly on my apartment counter. I gotta say that for the price this is a very good machine and I am happy with this buy!”
6. Chefman Crispinator Air Fryer 8 Qt
The Chefman Crispinator is for the control enthusiast. Its standout feature is five adjustable fan speeds (90°–450°F) paired with seven cooking functions, giving you unparalleled customization. The ceramic-coated basket and crisper tray are durable and healthy, while the full-width viewing window and shake/flip reminder light take the guesswork out of cooking. It’s also notably quieter and more compact than many high-capacity rivals.

- ✓ Shake/Flip Reminder: Built-in light and beeper alerts you to shake fries or flip proteins halfway through.

- ✓ Full-Width Viewing Window: Monitor cooking without losing heat or opening the lid.
- ✓ 5-Year Warranty: Industry-leading warranty shows Chefman’s confidence in durability.
Why We Recommend It
The Crispinator is the most tunable air fryer on our list. If you’re the type who tweaks temperatures and times for every recipe, you’ll appreciate the granular fan speed control. It’s remarkably versatile—you can truly dehydrate herbs or proof dough at low speeds, then blast a chicken at high speed. The reminder light is a small but brilliant quality-of-life feature that prevents forgotten food.
Best For
Detail-oriented home cooks and dehydrating enthusiasts who want maximum control over their cooking process. Also ideal for anyone who hates opening the air fryer to check on food (the window is excellent) and for those who want a long warranty for peace of mind.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Unmatched fan speed control for precise cooking and true dehydration.
- Excellent, full-width viewing window with interior light.
- Shake/flip reminder is incredibly useful and well-implemented.
- Very quiet operation for its power class.
- Industry-best 5-year warranty.
Cons:
- Time display is on top and can be hard to read from a distance.
- The basket sits low, making it slightly awkward to place on the counter (tilts back).
- Fan speed is tied to the preset mode (you can’t adjust fan speed independently in all modes).
Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “I am impressed with this air fryer. It is more powerful than my old one, quieter and even smaller, yet still has the same internal food volume. The internal volume is big, as described, and the basket is super easy to clean, as is the insert that allows for air to circulate below the food. The air fryer comes with a few sheets of perforated paper liners, but they are small and I already had slightly larger ones that fit as well. But be careful, as the fan is very powerful and at the highest setting will shred the paper if its not weight down by heavy food. The little cheese puffs I made in the last picture came out great, but I had to reduce the fan setting from 5 to 3. Talking about the menu and settings, I like the clean look on top and its very easy to navigate around, once everything is lit up. The big dial makes it easy to input time and temperature and then start the fryer, but its a learning curve like many other devices as well. And my little issue is that the time display is on top as well, so when you are far away from it, you cannot see it at all. You have to stand right next to it to read it. But it has a shaking/turning reminder and a beeper as well. One of the things i learned is that you cannot adjust the fan settings by themselves and the different mode buttons essentially determine which fan speed is used. So if you want fan speed number 3 you need to choose bake and then adjust the time and temperature to your recipe. The form factor is very nice and it looks stylish and does not take much space at all. I have a similar air fryer that was much taller (see picture comparison) and barely fit under our low hanging cabinets. This one is nice and low and still has the same volume and functions. In fact it goes to higher temperature (450F) and the fan speed is faster too, yet it is much quieter than our old fryer. Unless it is super quiet in the house, you may not hear it at all. One issue I have with the smaller footprint is that the basket drawer is sitting so low, that the drawer has a larger lip at the front bottom and that makes the basket tilt backwards when you place it anywhere on the counter. Not a big deal, but I got used in my old air fryer to have the basket sit stable outside the fryer. Just be aware. Overall I am very impressed with this new air fryer and it has permanently replaced the old one and some other devices as well, such as our dehydrator, as this one can be adjusted in fan speed and temperature to dehydrate as well. I am very happy with this device.”
Customer Review: “This is a really nice air fryer. The lighter color, called concrete, is really sleek and clean looking. This air fryer will hold 8 quarts, and it’s amazing how big the cooking basket is. I really like the window all the way across the front, so I can see how things are doing if I need to. This air fryer does have a really good light that you can turn on when you want to look inside. This air fryer has seven different modes. I think one of the newer modes it has is one called “frozen,” which will allow you to cook things that are frozen. That’s a little bit unique for an air fryer. You can also dehydrate with this air fryer, but you would need to get some dehydration racks to use. I used to dehydrate things, especially bananas, in my convection oven. I’m anxious to try some bananas in this air fryer. Each mode has its own default cooking temperature and time. That’s really helpful. Of course, it’s really easy to change those to your liking also. This air fryer has five different fan speeds, and each of the different modes has its own fan speed. You can adjust all of them, with the exception of the fan speed for air frying. I found out about the power of the fan in this air fryer while reheating a piece of pizza. I probably shouldn’t have used the “air fry” mode, because I looked in the window, and the pizza was twirling around like a little tornado. I also made some cheese toast with thick french bread, and the fan was also a bit too fast for that. Again, I should have used the “bake” mode or something else that has a lower fan speed. You have to be really careful with anything that doesn’t weigh much, and the cheese toast had a lot of shredded cheese on top, so a little bit of that got distributed throughout the air fryer. One thing I’ve noticed about this air fryer is that it doesn’t seem to be getting things browned on the bottom. I think it’s probably my fault, and I’m still experimenting. My cheese toast wasn’t very brown on the bottom, and my old air fryer used to have the bottom just about as brown as the top. I was using the parchment paper liners the first time or two, and I think that was one mistake I made because I think the parchment paper really blocks the airflow too much for some things. Again, it’s probably mostly my fault for not knowing exactly what mode to use. I ended up making cheese toast again today, and I cooked it on the “bake” mode for three minutes in order to melt the cheese, and then I air fried it for about four minutes. It did a little better this time. We baked three small batches of cookies, and they came out pretty well, except the first batch was done on the “air fry” mode, so they were a little bit too hard on the outside. When we got smart enough to realize we needed to use the “bake” mode, the cookies came out better. I just can’t wait to make some frozen french fries, but I don’t have any right now, so I will have to wait on that. The air fryer did do quite well on frozen mozzarella cheese sticks, though. Both the cooking basket bottom and the shelf have a really good nonstick ceramic coating that cleans up like a charm. Another thing I really like about this air fryer is the fact that most of the modes have a light that lights up on the top with the word “shake” or “flip” halfway through cooking. There is also a low volume alarm when this happens. This lets you know that it’s time to, for instance, shake your french fries or flip whatever you’re cooking, depending on what you’re doing. That’s a really helpful feature. One of the best things about this air fryer is the fact that it has a five-year warranty. That’s almost unheard of with this type of appliance, in my opinion. It lets me know that the manufacturer is very confident in their product. In summary, if you have the need for a large-size, nice-looking air fryer that has many helpful features, this could be a good choice.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “This is a really nice unit and it is perfect for just about everything we use it for. It doesn’t take up a ton of space on the counter, but it is rather tall. We are probably saving a ton of money not having to heat up a full-size oven because we use this all the time. Highly recommended!”
Customer Review: “This is a really beautiful oven. I got it in white and it is stunning. The air fryer basket is roomy which is so nice. There are only two shelves … an upper and a lower so be sure to ready the instructions on which one use for which cooking option. I made toast and it was perfect. It bakes well and quickly. I was very pleased that the air fry noise was very soft. The instruction manual was easy to follow and includes recipes too. The top gets warm so don’t put anything on top of it that you would not want to get warm or melt. I previously have a Ninja Crispi and you can put so much more food in this oven. I highly recommend.”

Customer Review: “Ninja | French Door Premier | Air Fryer,Convection Oven, Toaster | 5-qtFRIED CHICKEN ANYONE? CRUNCHY POTATOES? OR HONEY GLAZED CARROTS?All you need is our exceptional Air Fryer! After four years living in our new home which had an older kitchen, and me hating the oven, I saw our friends using an Air Fryer for everything. My husband loved our Breville Toaster Oven we have and it has been great but I wanted something more. His complaint was he enjoyed his toast every day and an air fryer to him did not spell toast.Christmas was fast approaching and I just knew my request was a maybe so taking things into my own hands, I ordered an Air Fryer. When it arrived my sweet husband set it up and was going to surprise me. Thank goodness I looked at it first. It was smaller than our microwave. I knew I had not done may homework well enough and no way was it going to cook a pizza. Back it went.Studying every review for many brands, I looked up comparison charts and then announced we were getting this Ninja Air Fryer. After presenting the research I had done on the many models and makes, we together ordered this Ninja French Door model. This appliance has the French doors and they open together making it so easy to be one handed, loading chicken or anything else.Unwrapping the air fryer was like Christmas all over again. It comes so well packed and with each paper to unwrap comes another feature. It was so exciting to see each new piece imagining what the element would prepare for us. My photographs will show you up close the quality of packing and details of the fryer. By the time I thought about pictures, we had already induldged so the plate looks a little empty! Now, let me tell you about the chicken. I first tried out chicken wings. Great appetizer to set on the table? Not a chance! These were so good, they never made it to the table and dinner did not move forward. It was the best fried chicken I had ever had without deep fried chicken in grease! All we did was to rinse the wings, pat dry, season with salt and pepper, and drop them into a zip lock bag with corn starch. Shake them around to coat them evenly and into the air fryer with space around each wing. That’s it! I was raised in the deep south where fried chicken and corn bread were a weekly staple. The very next day my husband went back to the store and bought the value pack of chicken wings. He wanted to try the larger wings whole. They took longer to cook but they were as crispy. I also wanted to buy the boneless skinless chicken breast and slice them like tenders. These should have been breaded. The skin on the wings were better equipped to crisp up easier but still heavily. While the chicken was cooking, what better than fried potatoes with chicken and white pepper gravy to dip it all in? Onward to another course to add to our not dinner! Oh my! The potatoes were amazing. They were so good we took a plate full to our neighbor who was not feeling like eating anything. She only lives five minutes away and she called before my husband returned and had eaten all but one! So, potato wedges we’re next to try. And honey roasted carrots. The cookbook offers a one pan meal with a protein and vegetables roasted. Oh my gosh! Baking corn bread was another find. Our pizza was too large as it was rectangular but we will do it again smaller or round.Next we tried the Carne Asada recipe in the cookbook that came with the air fryer. I had never cooked flank steak. The marinade they have in this recipe is crucial. A tough cut of meat was as tender as any filet mignon! We did cook it about three minutes longer to sear it darker. So far nothing is not just wonderful. Every night we just try something different. I cannot tell you how long its been since we have had so much fun playing with recipes to cook in our oven! This air fryer has brought life back to the kitchen.I do wish it were larger but it does fine for the two of us and with planning, an easy way to prepare many dishes for company.Enjoy this oven we believe from our results, and comparing its to other brands with our friends, surpasses any other. One last thing. We are bad at buying new gadgets and they end up on a wire rack stored in the garage, used only once. This unit is attractive, fits nicely on the counter, takes up less room than our toaster oven, works far better than the conventional oven, cleans easily, and a joy to own.Oh, that toast my husband was concerned about…he makes every day in the air fryer and its better than any toaster we have ever used, or even the toaster oven we now have in a mini upstairs kitchen.Mamie”
Customer Review: “I purchased this as a gift for my wife, to replace a cheap basket-style air fryer. This cooks very well, and it cooks fast. It can be used as an air fryer, a toaster over, and a convection oven. The interior can hold a decent amount of food, the french doors can be both opened with one hand (opening one also opens the other), the controls are very easy to set and use, and the build quality seems pretty good. I got this on sale for the holidays, and for what I paid this was a no-brainer. It works much better and faster than our previous unit, and does’t take up much more counter space — it’s got a similar footprint to a small microwave oven and will easily fit under standard height cabinets. The external case doesn’t get warm when in use. It’s easy to clean. We’re happy with it, and have no reservations recommending it to others.”
9. Ninja Foodi Air Fryer 6-in-1, 7-QT MegaZone with Basket Divider for Large Proteins, 450°F, Cook Two Foods Simultaneously DZ071
The Ninja Foodi DZ071 introduces the innovative FlexBasket—a single 7-qt basket with a removable divider. This lets you cook two different foods at once (like chicken and veggies) with separate times and temps, or remove the divider for one massive MegaZone. The 450°F max heat and DualZone Technology with Smart Finish and Match Cook make it uniquely flexible for complex meals, all in a surprisingly compact footprint.
Key Features That Stand Out
- ✓ FlexBasket with Divider: Cook two foods simultaneously in one basket with different settings, or use as one 7-qt MegaZone.
- ✓ 7-QT MegaZone Capacity: Fits a whole chicken or large proteins normally requiring a full oven.
- ✓ DualZone Technology: Smart Finish syncs finish times; Match Cook sets both zones to the same program.
- ✓ 450°F Max Temperature: High-heat capability for perfect sear and crisp.
- ✓ Compact Footprint: Large capacity without the width of a toaster oven; fits under most cabinets.
Why We Recommend It
The FlexBasket is a genuinely unique innovation that solves the “cook everything at once” problem elegantly. You can roast a chicken in one side and air fry broccoli in the other, finishing together. The MegaZone is also huge for its size—it’s shocking what fits in this drawer. It’s the most clever solution we’ve seen for cooking complete meals in a single appliance without stacking racks or juggling multiple devices.
Best For
Busy households and meal preppers who need to cook multiple components of a meal simultaneously. Perfect for families with picky eaters (different foods, different settings) and anyone who wants to maximize efficiency by cooking a protein and sides together without flavor transfer.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- The FlexBasket divider is a game-changer for cooking entire meals in one go.
- Massive 7-qt capacity in a compact, cabinet-friendly drawer design.
- Smart Finish and Match Cook features are genuinely useful and well-executed.
- Reaches a high 450°F for excellent sear and crisp on meats.
- Simple, intuitive controls for a feature-rich device.
Cons:
- The rectangular/wide basket can make it tricky to get small items out (they roll to the back).
- Divider takes up some basket space, so full MegaZone capacity is slightly less than 7-qt when divided.
- Not a toaster oven; lacks baking/roasting versatility of a countertop oven model.
Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “I am loving my new Ninja Air Fryer! I don’t think this model is very common because I’ve had friends ask me about the design. I love the Magazone and the fact that I can cook on one side or the other, or even use the whole basket without turning on my oven. The size is perfect—you can fit a whole chicken in it! The price was perfect for what I was looking for. It’s easy to use, has lots of functions, and I absolutely love the design. It’s very different from other air fryers I’ve seen.”
Customer Review: “Even, quick heating and the dual zones are really handy. Haven’t done too much with the megazone but am looking forward to doing dinner parties and meal prep with it. Basket can be a little tricky to get ingredients out of due to it’s rectangular/wide size, especially if you’re coming from a square basket model but it’s a small tradeoff for all the extra surface area and the flexibility of one large, divided basket versus two individual smaller baskets. Yes, I recommend this product.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “I absolutely love this air fryer! It heats up quickly and cooks food evenly and crispy without needing much oil. The digital controls are easy to use, and the preset options make cooking simple and convenient. I really like the window design because I can check on the food without opening it. It’s spacious enough to cook multiple items at once, yet it doesn’t take up too much counter space. Cleaning is also very easy. Great quality and totally worth the price! Highly recommend!”
Customer Review: “I researched so many air fryers and almost went with the glass front dual drawer Instant Pot brand because I love Instant Pot so much, but what sold me on this was the metal interior, the three metal shelves, in the footprint being tall versus wide so it takes up less counter space. I’ve had this 6 months and it is my most used appliance in the kitchen, and that’s saying something. Maybe my toaster is used more than this, but that’s it. Every other appliance is second. Even my Instant Pot! Baked apples, open face cheese melts of all kinds, brussel sprouts, baked oatmeal, salmon, potato wedges, fries of course; I can’t begin to list everything. lt’s great at reheating everything I’ve tried. Really it’s just a really tiny oven. I haven’t tried to rotisserie chicken yet, but I’m doing that this weekend. So if it doesn’t go well I’ll come back and do edits. The three shelves are the easiest to clean ever! I thought everything would stick in the holes, but they don’t. It’s just the right amount of shelves and they’re just the right size to do everything I’ve wanted to do. My only complaint is that the outside is plastic and not wonderful plastic at that. I so wish the outside was high quality stainless steel. I would have paid double for it. I’m pretty picky when it comes to appliances. I don’t want a one-trick pony and taking up all my kitchen space and not being worth the space they take up. So to give this air fryer this type of glowing review is a bit rare. But it deserves every star and more.”
Complete Buying Guide for Air Fryer With Rack
Essential Factors We Consider
When choosing an air fryer with a rack, capacity is the first big decision. Do you need a 6-qt basket for a family of four, or a 12-qt oven for batch cooking? Next, consider the style: basket-style air fryers (like the Chefman TurboFry) are simple, shake-friendly, and great for fries/chicken. Toaster oven-style models (like the Ninja SP151) offer racks for multi-level cooking, baking, and toasting, but are taller. French door ovens (like the Midea Flexify) provide huge capacity with easy access but need more counter width. Look for power (watts)—1800W+ is ideal for fast, even cooking—and temperature range (90°-450°F is standard for versatility). A ceramic coating is a health and durability upgrade over standard nonstick. Finally, ease of cleaning matters: dishwasher-safe parts and removable crumb trays are a huge plus.
Budget Planning
You can find a solid basic basket air fryer with a rack for under $100. For $100-$200, you get excellent mid-range models with better build quality, more functions, and sometimes ceramic coatings (like the Cosori TurboBlaze). The $200-$300 range unlocks premium toaster oven and French door styles with massive capacity, advanced features like dual zones, and brand-name reliability (Ninja, Cuisinart). The Chefman 12-Quart sits at a unique value point, offering rotisserie and dehydrator functions usually found in much pricier units. Set your budget based on must-have features: if you only air fry, a $80 basket model is fine. If you want to replace your oven, invest $200+ in a toaster oven style.
Final Thoughts
The “best” air fryer with a rack depends entirely on your kitchen’s needs and constraints. For max space-saving + versatility, the Ninja SP151 is unbeatable. For best value with premium features, the Cosori TurboBlaze can’t be beaten. For huge families or entertainers, the Midea Flexify or Chefman 12-Quart are titans. And for the most innovative multi-zone cooking, the Ninja Foodi FlexBasket is in a league of its own. Prioritize what you’ll cook most often, how many people you’re feeding, and where you’ll store it. Any of these top 10 will deliver delicious, healthy results for years to come.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can you use racks in all air fryers?
A: No. Only specific models are designed with rack compatibility, typically toaster oven-style and some large-capacity basket models. Always check the manufacturer’s specs and included accessories. Using third-party racks can be unsafe and block airflow.
Q: Do air fryers with racks cook faster than regular ovens?
A: Yes, most air fryers preheat and cook significantly faster than a conventional oven due to their compact size and powerful convection fans. Many claim 25-60% faster cooking times, which saves energy and gets dinner on the table quicker.
Q: Is a toaster oven air fryer better than a basket-style?
A: It depends. Toaster oven styles offer more versatility (baking, toasting, roasting) and multi-level rack cooking, but are taller. Basket styles are simpler, often quieter, and easier to shake for foods like fries. Choose based on your primary use: if you want an oven replacement, get a toaster oven style; if you want a dedicated air fryer, get a basket.
Q: How do I clean the rack in an air fryer?
A: Most metal racks and baskets are dishwasher-safe (check your manual). For stuck-on food, soak in warm soapy water, then use a non-abrasive sponge. Avoid steel wool on nonstick coatings. Regular cleaning of the crumb tray is essential to prevent smoke and odors.
Q: Can I put raw meat on the rack in an air fryer?
A: Absolutely. Air fryer racks are perfect for cooking raw meats like chicken breasts, steaks, or burgers. The circulating air cooks them evenly and allows fat to drip away. Just ensure the meat is placed on a rack or tray that fits your specific model’s design to maintain proper airflow.
