It’s perfect for those of us who like the deep dark roast with chocolate notes and can’t find the one that’s just right. It’s hard to get anything dark enough in a k cup brewer imo but this is it! Starbucks Italian roast was always my favorite, but it’s getting harder and harder to find, so this will be my go to from now on.

I had a stack of 10+ keurig brand reusable k-cups and the hardware to boot because it’s so much more cost effective and I liked that there was less plastic waste even though they could be a pain to clean. I still hated that I was heating up plastic cups daily and didn’t want to think of those pesky microplastics you can’t escape from consuming these days. Plus the mesh would stain and occasionally warpThe stainless steel is so easy to clean I’d be comfortable reusing these after a quick rinse. I still wack them into the dishwasher every time, seal and all. Haven’t had any deterioration that required me to swap the silicone ring after using them for 6+ months. Even when my husband overpacked a k-cup we didn’t have water gush into the machine because it was such a good fit. It didn’t end up putting the full 12 oz through- it was almost like he made espresso! It actually made the machine back up a little so coffee came out very slow. I ran straight water through and it fixed the problem. I love that there are the little plastic nubs on the side so I can take the cup out without burning my fingers directly after a brew to make another cup.Highly recommend filling these to just under the line where the mesh stops. It’s slightly more than the enclosed tablespoon measurement (mound it and you’re good). It even uses less grounds than the Keurig brand reusable cups!I’ve shown pictures of the amount I use in the stainless, the same in the Keurig reusable, and what I actually used in those reusable cups to get the same brew (more than double!). Customer Review: Years ago I received a secondhand Keurig from my local “everything free” group. It was the original model, a big sucker. Definitely more firepower than I needed but so powerful and dominant I could not resist it.That machine became vital to my ADHD morning routine. No more spilling stuff everywhere, no more folded-over coffee filter and cup full of grounds and water. No more being late because I had to babysit my coffee maker. I could just pop the pod in, press a button, and go. My life was improved.That machine was an absolute workhorse but sadly after constant use it began shutting itself off and not restarting. It was time to move on.I initially purchased a knock-off k-cup machine. It promised that it would make both iced and hot coffee for $20 less. It wove a web of lies that ensnared me. I won’t get into what was wrong with it, that is for another review. What I will say is that I returned it promptly and ordered this brand new fancy baby Keurig.This machine, which I will call K-Pod Demon Hunter, heats quickly — like almost immediately. It brews a perfect cup every time. It makes pleasant noises while it works that let me know it’s happy. I am also happy. We are happy together, like the song.The only thing I do not like about this machine is the color. It was on sale because it’s a “holiday color” but it is not attractive. It is ugly. It’s the color you see in winter coats on sale. Your chain-smoking great aunt who is obsessed with true crime and criticizes your life choices but may leave you some money when she dies has a jacket in this color. It’s neither red nor purple nor magenta. It has a touch of brown but it’s not rust. Nobody likes this color. Nobody has ever liked this color. It’s not a color that will become retro at any point. This color is neither pleasing to the eye nor soothing to the spirit.But I’m not perfect either and K-pod Demon Hunter accepts me as I am. Customer Review: The unit is probably the best Keurig system we have ever used. It is just the right size in that the water reservoir holds about four cups worth of water. The single serve has 3 brew sizes and a safety feature that prevents running when there is not enough water for another cup. Our system runs continuously as we each drink from 3 to 5 cups a day. Really simple to use and very flexible features. Also it runs its own descaling protocol; we used straight white vinegar instead of a purchased Keurig product with great cleaning action. As a note, I am a clean water person and the water is never left over-night for the next day. The small-scale of this unit makes it possible to easily keep the water container clean and air-dried every night…

Customer Review: Let me preface this review by saying that I’ve owned three Keurig Duo(s) over the past 4 years (now including this one). All were different versions of the Duo. There really isn’t anything that sets this one apart for me other than the digital clock, which I could take or leave. Keurigs perform well until they don’t. I can say they last slightly longer than other brands with comparable makes and perform solidly until they decide not to turn on again (usually without warning or signs of obvious signs of struggling leading up to it); they just randomly do not turn on one day. So far, in my experience, they’ve been lasting 1-1.5 years.The pros are that it consistently makes a good cup of coffee. I enjoy having the single-use side for morning coffee and work-from-home days, and I appreciate the option to make a pot to fill my travel mug when I am on the go. The option to make a strong or weak cup is also a good option, but I never go with the latter, so it’s only ever used when I have guests. While you can use it to make iced coffee, I am not a fan, so I haven’t really tried that out. In terms of performance, it’s relatively quick, and I really like the fact that it doesn’t take 20 minutes to brew a pot like the old-school coffee makers.As far as clogging and K-cups go, it handles frequent use like a champ – It hardly, if ever, clogs, and I haven’t experienced any half-brewed coffee flowing out of the sides, or exploding cups. It is because the Keurig is so popular that if you need a spare part, there are plenty of options available, which is helpful if you want something extra to brew loose tea or coffee. Even if you have to replace a needle/motor or get a new carafe, there are options everywhere.Asthetically speaking, it’s sleek, compact, but has a decent sized resevior, and fits/sits perfectly on top of my K-Cup drawer. It’s black, so it blends with pretty much everything; the silver trim provides a decent offset.All in all, I really like Keurig. Hopefully, this one lasts longer.

Customer Review: This was a gift to my mother for Christmas. She seems to really enjoy it and what drew me towards this model were 2 things.First is that it has a standard coffee pot for the times that my mother would rather brew a pot instead of using a K-Cup. When her first Keurig broke she went back to using a standard pot instead of buying a new one. Standard pots still have their appeal so why not have both options in one unit? I’m glad they made it like this.The second reason is the ability to make iced coffee. I’ve never indulged in iced coffee myself but my mother is a daily coffee drinker and loves to tend to her flowers outside during the summer. I mean she really gets into the lawn stuff, she could’ve been a great landscaper designing lawns for real estate. She spends a lot of time outside during the summer and for hot days like that I can’t imagine hot coffee would be very appealing. So, this way she can still have her coffee and do the things she loves outside.I’ve had a few cups of coffee from it when visiting and they always turn out great though I do want to mention that this unit won’t accept the basic K Cup accessory when using your own coffee. It actually uses a newer type of plastic cup that has special indentations on the top of them that enable you to close the brewing lid down. If you try using a standard K Cup accessory they will fit into the machine but you won’t be able to close the lid for brewing.I’ll update the review if there’s anything extra to add in down the road but for the time being it’s been a little over 2 months and the unit seems to work great.

Customer Review: The media could not be loaded. I bought the refillable Keurig coffee pod dispensers because I replaced my traditional coffee pot in my camper with a Keurig. I currently use refillable coffee pod dispensers in my kitchen. The ones I am currently using (in picture on left for comparison) are no longer available so I chose these refillable dispensers with the purple lid. As you can see, there is more surface area for the coffee to strain with the filter area as well as the spray area at the top of the pod dispenser then my old one. I also found that they fit in the Keurig a little tighter than my old refillable dispensers. My old dispensers do leave some coffee grounds in my cup of coffee, the new filters that I am doing a review on that fit snug in the Keurig did not leave any coffee grounds in my cup of coffee and the taste was great. The cup I am using on this demonstration is a very large cup so the amount of coffee dispensed is typical for the size selected.They are easy to fill. I filled coffee grounds,to the top of the screen area, the lid closed securely, and it was easy to clean.I would recommend these coffee filters if you have a Keurig like mine because it does save you money, gives you a great cup of coffee, you aren’t limited to what brands of coffee are out there in disposable cups, and it is better for the environment.
