Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Top tier coffee maker. I use it for everything. I make my tea with it too as the sing cup use is clutch. This is everyday use without an issue. Time is perfect. Brewing styles actually work. Easy use. Warming is a good touch. Zero leaks. Pot itself is a great design and very durable.Bang for buck this is unbeatable. Tight lid for screw in so don’t have to worry about messed. Auto stops when pot is removed.
Customer Review: Very happy with this purchase! We’ve had this for about 2 months and have use it about 3 times per day. There was a small learning curve for us on this machine as it has a lot more features than we’ve used before. Great for our thermoses, single cup, and carafes. It’s efficient and handles a variety of sizes which works for all of our household. Brew time is fast. We seem to like it using a bit less grounds and on the rich setting. Keeps carafe warm for a nice period of time. No worries about filters collapsing. The frother was a fun addition for my hot cocoa this winter as well. Easy to keep clean. It is a bigger machine than all of our others but we made a coffee bar for it and my kettle. Recommend getting a sliding board underneath for easy moving.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: We have had this exact Cuisinart 14-cup coffee maker for nearly 6 years. The heat plate will usually get a bit rusty after several years but this is a solid large capacity coffee maker that consistently make great coffee. After nearly 6 years the old unit began leaking a little. I though it was just a spill but ends up it was leaking. I purchased this same coffeemaker because it has been a good machine for our needs. I have read about people having issues with the lid but fortunately we are intelligent enough to actually put the lid on properly. It actually just snaps on – Easy-peesey! We have never had any issues with the carafe leaking or pouring badly. Our has always managed to pour as expected. I find this to be a good quality machine and enjoy that I can adjust strengths and cup sizes if I choose.UPDATE: After 2 days of making coffee I can say we”l be looking for a replacement carafe under warranty as this one has the issue of pouring badly that so many have complained about. For now – We are using the old carafe we have on hand.
Customer Review: Excellent coffee maker. Easy-to-use buttons. a lot of options to make a small pot, or increase strength. The brewed coffee tastes like coffee, not chemicals. Looks nice on the countertop. I like the glass carafe.

This machine is perfect for anyone tired of choosing between speed and capacity. The single-serve side is quick for mornings, while the carafe side brews up to 12 cups for gatherings. The iced coffee feature is a standout—it actually brews stronger to account for melting ice, so your drink stays flavorful.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Let me preface this review by saying that I’ve owned three Keurig Duo(s) over the past 4 years (now including this one). All were different versions of the Duo. There really isn’t anything that sets this one apart for me other than the digital clock, which I could take or leave. Keurigs perform well until they don’t. I can say they last slightly longer than other brands with comparable makes and perform solidly until they decide not to turn on again (usually without warning or signs of obvious signs of struggling leading up to it); they just randomly do not turn on one day. So far, in my experience, they’ve been lasting 1-1.5 years. The pros are that it consistently makes a good cup of coffee. I enjoy having the single-use side for morning coffee and work-from-home days, and I appreciate the option to make a pot to fill my travel mug when I am on the go. The option to make a strong or weak cup is also a good option, but I never go with the latter, so it’s only ever used when I have guests. While you can use it to make iced coffee, I am not a fan, so I haven’t really tried that out. In terms of performance, it’s relatively quick, and I really like the fact that it doesn’t take 20 minutes to brew a pot like the old-school coffee makers. As far as clogging and K-cups go, it handles frequent use like a champ – It hardly, if ever, clogs, and I haven’t experienced any half-brewed coffee flowing out of the sides, or exploding cups. It is because the Keurig is so popular that if you need a spare part, there are plenty of options available, which is helpful if you want something extra to brew loose tea or coffee. Even if you have to replace a needle/motor or get a new carafe, there are options everywhere.Asthetically speaking, it’s sleek, compact, but has a decent sized resevior, and fits/sits perfectly on top of my K-Cup drawer. It’s black, so it blends with pretty much everything; the silver trim provides a decent offset. All in all, I really like Keurig. Hopefully, this one lasts longer.
Customer Review: This was a gift to my mother for Christmas. She seems to really enjoy it and what drew me towards this model were 2 things.First is that it has a standard coffee pot for the times that my mother would rather brew a pot instead of using a K-Cup. When her first Keurig broke she went back to using a standard pot instead of buying a new one. Standard pots still have their appeal so why not have both options in one unit? I’m glad they made it like this. The second reason is the ability to make iced coffee. I’ve never indulged in iced coffee myself but my mother is a daily coffee drinker and loves to tend to her flowers outside during the summer. I mean she really gets into the lawn stuff, she could’ve been a great landscaper designing lawns for real estate. She spends a lot of time outside during the summer and for hot days like that I can’t imagine hot coffee would be very appealing. So, this way she can still have her coffee and do the things she loves outside.I’ve had a few cups of coffee from it when visiting and they always turn out great though I do want to mention that this unit won’t accept the basic K Cup accessory when using your own coffee. It actually uses a newer type of plastic cup that has special indentations on the top of them that enable you to close the brewing lid down. If you try using a standard K Cup accessory they will fit into the machine but you won’t be able to close the lid for brewing.I’ll update the review if there’s anything extra to add in down the road but for the time being it’s been a little over 2 months and the unit seems to work great.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Performance & Taste• Excellent Brew: We really like this coffee maker. It works great and consistently makes a good cup of coffee. The 2-Way functionality is super convenient.• Filter Discovery: A crucial detail that wasn’t clear to me during purchase is that this model does not include a reusable filter basket; it requires disposable paper filters.• The “Oily Sheen” Insight: While it works well, I’ve noticed that using a paper filter prevents the oily sheen from the coffee beans from coming through into the cup. For those who prefer that richer flavor profile, this is important to know. I will definitely be purchasing a reusable filter basket soon to improve the brew.• Pros: reliable performance, easy to use, nice design.• Cons: No included reusable filter, which adds an ongoing cost/inconvenience.• Bottom Line: A solid machine, but be prepared to buy a reusable filter if you don’t like disposable paper ones or prefer a more robust brew.
Customer Review: I recently got the Hamilton Beach 2-Way Programmable Coffee Maker, and it has honestly been a game changer for our morning routine. What I love most is the flexibility. I can brew a single flavored cup just for myself, and then turn around and make a full pot for the rest of the family without any fuss. It’s perfect for households where everyone drinks coffee a little differently.Another big plus for me is that it uses ground coffee instead of K-cups. That means less waste, no plastic pods, and a more traditional, better-tasting cup of coffee. It just feels simpler and more practical—the way coffee was meant to be made.I’ve also been really impressed with the day-to-day performance. It doesn’t leak, it’s easy to fill, and it brews quietly, which is a blessing on early mornings. The single-serve side takes about 2½ minutes, which is quick enough when you’re trying to get out the door.I’ve been using it with my favorite beans from Bulletproof Coffee, and the flavor has been excellent every time. If you’re curious, this is the coffee I’ve been using 👉 https://amzn.to/4cBGfuqBetween the convenience, the cleaner brewing method, and the great taste, this machine makes me feel like I’ve finally stepped up my coffee game. If you want one nice-looking machine that can handle both a quick single cup and a full pot, this one is a fantastic choice.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: We just received this coffee maker yesterday after our high-end fancy Technivorn machine died from 6 years of daily use. We like the fact that it was highly rated and it was well under $100 and so far, we are happy with its operation, it’s designed and functionality. It was important to us that it had this capacity and the ability to set the machine in advance to make coffee the next morning, as well as to keep it warm once it’s brewed. It was also important that it had the ability to clean itself, so the clean cycle will certainly come in handy. The coffee we made today was excellent, perhaps even a little strong because we started out using the strong mode button so we may back off tomorrow just to see the difference and also adjust the dosage because we used 12 heaping scoops and it came out a little bit strong. We will update this review if necessary, but so far so good!
Customer Review: Coffee maker works as described. Easy to program. Coffee tastes great! Reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend!

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I bought this Keurig coffee maker to replace my old one. This coffee maker is great and really easy to use makes hot and iced beverages. It’s well done love the color and the design worth the money. The water tank is large and I can go days to refill it’s durable and functions well I recommend.
Customer Review: I love this coffee maker! I love the color (I have it in gold), the size, and its versatility. This machine (compared to my Keurig 2.0 which served me well for several years) is a great replacement. It holds a lot more water and is light-weight, which was surprising, considering that it is programmable and can perform so many tasks. It also takes up less space than my 2.0 did.Yes, it makes a bit of noise, but it’s not bothersome, considering how fast it brews. BTW: My coffee tastes great. Both my coffee-drinking son and I agree!Overall, I love it and hope it continues to work well.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: This us tge vest machine I have purchased. It makes a perfect espresso, or cup of coffee. Its so easy to use and everything is explained on screen. You know what to do. Tells you when to clean and when to descale and is way easier to do than any other machine I have had. Taste is great. You can tell its pulling a perfect espresso every time. Can’t say enough about this machine!
Customer Review: As my title says, it took me 3 tries to become adept at making the perfect latte, and the first didn’t count as you’re supposed to dispose of that one anyway.I’ll be honest, I was worried about becoming an amateur barista thinking the instructions for setup and brewing might go over my head. On the contrary, between the setup instruction manual and the step by step instructions through the BILT app (just scan the QR code and it’ll walk you through this part), it was quite easy to get going. In less than an hour, I had the machine setup and had brewed myself a perfect store quality caramel latte. The stainless steel design looks great and the unit itself appears to be quite durable. A sturdy design with enough weight behind it to keep it easily in place. I’m impressed with the various functions and choices available. It came with a basic recipe book that included various types of recipes, including cold brews. This lovely machine also makes an amazing cup of hot cocoa, for which I used a thick froth setting for the milk (Lactaid works just as well as regular milk, as I’ve become lactose intolerant over the last decade).I haven’t yet purchased a separate knock box for the coffee grounds, so until I do, I have an empty coffee can I keep under my sink for proper disposal. The coffee grounds come out with just a light tap.Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. I’ve always been a fan of Ninja products, and this machine is no exception. The Ninja Luxe Café 3-in-1 machine makes it easy to become an amateur barista in no time. As someone who spends roughly $65-$85 a month on retail coffee shops, this machine will pay for itself quickly.
8. Cuisinart DCC-3400NAS Coffee Maker

The thermal carafe is the star here—it keeps coffee at the perfect drinking temperature without the burnt taste that warming plates can cause. The coffee comes out hotter than most home brewers, and the flavor stays consistent from the first cup to the last. It’s a top choice for those who prioritize temperature retention.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Update: The first one I bought lasted about 19 months. The price has increased almost 50% since I bought that one. When it died I tried a few other models that are less expensive. After a day or a week I returned those and ultimately bought another one of these. I’ve had my second one about 11 months now. I will likely never buy anything else. Best coffee I’ve ever been able to make at home. It used to be if you bought something from Cuisinart you could expect to still have it in five years. I wish that was still the case, but if I’m being completely honest I would buy a new one of these every year if I have to.I looked at every model of thermal carafe coffee maker and read a lot of reviews before choosing this one. This is, by far, the hottest coffee I have ever gotten from a home coffee maker. For me, this is a huge selling point. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot enough to enjoy without microwaving for at least 4 hours. Even after 6 or 7 hours the coffee is still warm and tasty. Because it does not use a warming plate to keep the coffee hot, the last drop of coffee tastes as good as the first. I will never go back to a glass caraf. I like the flavor of my coffee better than I have with any other coffee maker I’ve ever owned. The carafe is large. It holds almost 2 liters if you fill it to the 12 cup mark. The pour spout is designed specifically so It doesn’t dribble all over the place when I pour.It makes the coffee pretty quickly. Speed depends on the settings you use and, obviously, how much coffee you’re making. A full pot without the bold setting is read in about 11 or 12 minutes. It is completely programmable so you can setup the coffee to be ready at whatever time you’d like. It also has a “1-4” button for if you’re making 1 to 4 cups of coffee, and a “bold” button if you like stronger coffee. Those two buttons have a similar function. They slow the water flow over the grinds so you get the full flavor in a small pot, or a bolder flavor in any pot.A note about pouring because I’ve seen some reviewers that didn’t like how the pot pours. I don’t use the pot to fill the reservoir with water. I did that the first time and it pours way too slowly. That was aggravating. That may be why others complained. So I use a plastic pitcher for filling the reservoir. It appears that the top to the pot is designed to control the flow rate when pouring. I see this as a positive. When I’m filling my coffee cup I’m never wishing it would pour faster. I’m just glad coffee isn’t getting all over the counter, the floor, or me.I noticed some reviewers said the buttons stopped working after a few months or a year. I will say that it doesn’t take much force at all to get a response from whatever button you push. Because of those reviews I make a point of not using much force when I hit “Brew” or whatever button I’m pushing. If you poke them hard over and over, I could see them not working anymore after awhile. This coffee maker looks nice in my kitchen. If you have stainless steel appliances it will match. It takes up a very reasonable amount of space on my counter. The measurement lines are on the right side in the middle; however you can pour the water into the reservoir from either side. The reservoir is the whole back of the unit and is accepts water on either the left of the right side. The filter basket is cone shaped. It comes with a gold screen reusable filter insert. I still use a paper filter in that as well because I don’t like any sediment in my coffee. The paper cone filters cost a little more than standard filters but not so much that it is deal-breaker for me. A few extra dollars every 3 or 4 months. You have the option to use a charcoal water filter, but if you never use one it doesn’t change how to unit performs. The charcoal filter’s purpose is to filter things like the chloriine flavor out of your water. I use it.Some reviewers complained that the instructions are lacking in detail. Maybe the manufacturer has updated them since then. For the most part the setup is all pretty logical. The one thing I found difficult to figure out and not explained in the instructions was getting the charcoal filter into the filter holder. Turns out it is apparently so easy it looks hard. I included a few pics. On the stem portion of the charcoal filter holder is the word “open” with an arrow pointing downward. Right below that on the base is a little notch that sticks up. Just gently pull on the little notch and the front of the base flips open. The back left corner of the water reservoir has a slot cutout in the bottom to hold the base of the charcoal water filter setup. You just gently set it down in there. You don’t have to force it. And it stays in place. The last pic is of the cutout in the bottom of the water reservoir. Other than that setup was really easy. The filter basket only fits in one way. It’s a no-brainer to see where the water goes. The instructions tell you how to use all the buttons and features. There is a ready tone that beeps 5 times when the coffee is finished brewing. It’s pretty loud. If you don’t like that, you just press the “Tone” button near the clock face and the ready tone is off.It comes with one charcoal water filter, several cone shaped paper coffee filters, and a coffee scoop. Amazon sells the charcoal filters and the paper cone filters for very reasonable prices.I’ve been using this coffee maker since the day after Christmas 2019 and I have no complaints. I will update this review if anything changes. I’ve had a Bunn, and several models of Hamilton Beach over the course of 20 years. So far, this is the best coffee maker I’ve ever owned.
Customer Review: Love this Cuisinart Perfect Temp Thermal Carafe Coffee Machine!I’ve had various versions of this Cuisinart coffee maker over the years. I keep going back to it because of the sleek look, perfect temp and delicious brew notes. This latest version has an improved thermal carafe design. The inside of the carafe now has a slated contour near the pouring spout that makes pouring coffee easier. There is no messy dripping. You do not have to turn the pot upside down to get the last cup poured. As for cleaning the carafe, I recommend occasionally dropping a dishwasher pod inside and filling the carafe with hot water. Let it sit for a few minutes so the pod dissolves. You can use a handled wine glass sponge brush to assist once the pod dissolves. The carafe will look brand new inside. No stains!I highly recommend this coffee maker.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Had this coffee maker for a while now. Easy to use, reliable and does what it says on the box. Not fancy features to break and just what I wanted.
Customer Review: So far, this little coffee pot is working great and meets my needs. I needed one that could be preset to brew on a timer. It looks nice on the counter without taking up too much space. Yes, it was worth the price. Coffee brews nicely. The capacity is large enough for me at 10 cups. I have always had a 12-cup, but being by myself, those 2 cups aren’t missed. It appears that the glass is of a quality thickness.
10. Ninja CFP301 DualBrew Coffee System
★★★★☆ 4.4/5
The Ninja DualBrew Pro is a flexible system that brews both K-Cup pods and ground coffee, with options for single serve or full 12-cup carafe. It’s faster than many Keurigs when using pods and provides excellent flavor extraction.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Very happy with this coffee maker, and all the attention to the details. Makes a pot of coffee or uses pods and it does not take up a lot of space for being a dual coffee maker. The pot has a tube in it so that it doesn’t splash; it also has a fold down cupholder so it doesn’t splash if making one serving. The foam wand is easy to use and easy to rinse clean and tuck away. Has lots of options for the different variations of coffee that can be made. It also has a large reservoir so that I don’t need to fill it all week when I’m on the go. Also has a separate water hole for hot water for tea, etc. so it doesn’t have residual coffee in the water. I also bought the extended three-year warranty for it because I can tell if anything were to happen to it, I am going to want this coffee maker again.
Customer Review: I have a love/hate relationship with Ninja products – I really love them. But I strongly dislike the warranty. And I hate the lifespan. Once they are done – they’re done. I have had a couple of Ninja blenders that surpass the crushing and blending power of my 30 year old beehive Oster – but their life expectancy is about five years. This was a very strong consideration in purchasing a $200 coffee maker. I am not a coffee connoisseur – I typically drink one cup daily – very strong with cream only. But it has to be a perfect cup. I want to enjoy every single sip.I found a Ninja coffee system, brand new, at a thrift store locally for $15. The coffee was amazing. Perfect every single time. When my son moved to his own place, I gifted it to him and started researching one for me. Since I am the only coffee drinker in the house now (no, I’m not crying because he’s gone, don’t be silly) I considered a Keurig. But I honestly do not like the quality of the coffee from those machines – have tried several but it is not at all to my liking. However, the amount of wasted coffee I was dealing with really started bothering me and decided I needed an option for one cup. This machine is really perfect. The one cup option that I thought I settled for because it is a K cup option turned out to produce an amazing cup of coffee. I THINK it is because the Ninja makes three holes into the K cup rather than the standard one hole other machines use? It may also be the water temperature gets super hot. I do not know, but I really appreciate the depth of flavor from the K cup option on this machine.Another nice option that I never thought I’d want is the frother. It seems silly to me, but one comment in the Ninja manual stated that a cold cup with cream steals the heat from the coffee and changes the flavor – so I toyed around with the frother, using the microwave for 30 seconds and then blending the coffee and cream – its fantastic. This week I had a fever and opted for tea over coffee – I remembered the hot water option on this machine – it gave me two options – hot water and boil – I selected boil and my tea was steeping in no time at the perfect temperature. I absolutely appreciate that the water runs through a separate dispenser so my tea did not have any coffee residue or discoloration or flavor. I plan now to retire my stand alone boiler. The reservoir on the Ninja is adequate for my one cup daily – it is very easy to remove and fill or even fill while in place – I prefer the side option, but like that it can be attached to the back to save space. I don’t think that would make much difference because this machine is very big – it does not fit under my standard cabinets.I bought this as a birthday gift for myself and if that last son hadn’t left at the same time, I likely wouldn’t have spent that much money on myself – but I was pitiful. I am extremely happy I did because the cost is worth it. I am very hopeful this machine will last past my 5 year expectation.Since I do not purchase coffee daily, I cannot state that I have saved money – I mean, I have because I’m not making half pots just for myself and wasting most of that – but if I were a coffee shop customer, I would absolutely think I’d save money with the frother thing and the quality of the coffee – It is really a great machine and I very highly recommend you purchase it. I was debating between the Keurig Duo Pro and this machine and given the quality of the K cup coffee from this, I haven’t once looked back – there is no way in my mind the Keurig would produce the same quality cup from the K cups.Enjoy
Complete Buying Guide for Best Coffee Makers
Essential Factors We Consider
Choosing the right coffee maker depends on your daily habits, household size, and preferred coffee style. First, decide between single-serve (pod or ground) for convenience or carafe brewers for multiple cups. Consider brew strength control if you like bold coffee, and programmability if you want coffee ready at a specific time. For iced coffee lovers, look for an “Over Ice” setting that brews stronger to offset melting. Also, think about maintenance—machines with removable parts, self-clean cycles, and permanent filters save time and money. Finally, check the water reservoir size; larger reservoirs mean fewer refills.
Budget Planning
Coffee makers range from under $50 for basic models to over $300 for premium all-in-one systems. Set a budget based on needed features. For under $100, you’ll find reliable programmable carafe brewers and some dual systems. Between $100–$200, expect more versatility like built-in grinders, frothers, and dual brew options. Above $200, you’re paying for premium build quality, advanced technology, and multi-functionality. Remember to factor in ongoing costs: paper filters, descaling supplies, or pod purchases can add up.
Final Thoughts
The best coffee maker is the one that fits seamlessly into your routine and consistently delivers coffee you love. Don’t overbuy features you’ll never use, but also consider future needs—a growing family or newfound interest in espresso might warrant a more versatile machine now. Read user reviews for real-world durability insights, and prioritize models with good warranties. Ultimately, a great coffee maker should make your mornings easier, not more complicated.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Should I choose a pod machine or a ground coffee brewer?
A: Pod machines offer speed and convenience with minimal cleanup, but they’re more expensive per cup and create waste. Ground coffee brewers are more economical, eco-friendly, and often produce richer flavor, but they require measuring and cleanup. If you want both, consider a dual system like the Ninja DualBrew Pro or Keurig K-Duo.
Q: What’s the difference between a thermal and glass carafe?
A:A thermal carafe is vacuum-insulated to keep coffee hot for hours without a warming plate, preserving flavor. A glass carafe sits on a warming plate, which can overheat and burn coffee over time. Thermal carafes are pricier but better for slow drinkers; glass carafes are fine if you finish the pot quickly.
Q: How often should I descale my coffee maker?
A:Descaling frequency depends on water hardness and usage. As a general rule, descale every 1–3 months with a vinegar solution or commercial descaler. Machines with water filters may need it less often. Regular descaling maintains performance and extends lifespan.
Q: Do I need a built-in grinder?
A:A built-in grinder (like in the Ninja ES601) ensures fresh grounds for maximum flavor and saves counter space. However, standalone grinders offer more control and can be used for other brewing methods. If you primarily drink drip coffee or use pods, a built-in grinder isn’t necessary.
Q: Can I use any coffee in a pod-compatible machine?
A:Most pod machines work only with proprietary pods (K-Cups, Nespresso). Some, like the Ninja DualBrew, accept both pods and ground coffee. If you want flexibility, choose a machine with a ground coffee option or use reusable pod adapters (though compatibility varies).
