Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I bought two of these for my juice bar to replace Vitamix “Quiet One” blenders (which were EXTREMELY LOUD after less than a year of use and Vitamix could not fix them). The Blendtec is much quieter and blends perfectly. The lid is a little wonky as other reviews have mentioned, but as long as it’s placed securely we haven’t had any issues with leakage. (Though I guess it could be an issue with thinner liquids, as we only blend smoothies.) We did have to replace one due to an error message but Blendtec customer service was great and sent a new blender as soon as we shipped the broken one. We’re completely happy and will not go back to Vitamix.
Customer Review: Great blender, with more power than you’ll ever need for standard use! If you have the money this is the way to go!

The base is beautiful, simple, and durable. The motor is so powerful and fast and the blade is ultra strong. The jar is made of super durable plastic and is simple and easy to clean, the lid is good. I’ve never been so satisfied with a purchase. You absolutely get what you pay for and more. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra cash for this, it’s absolutely worth it.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: This blender is fantastic. The quality is top-notch, and it blends a variety of produce effortlessly, delivering a perfectly smooth texture every time. It’s lightweight thanks to the plastic design, but still feels very sturdy. The best part is the titanium-coated blades, which are a huge upgrade over the usual stainless steel ones you find in most blenders. This makes them much sharper and significantly extends the blender’s lifespan—you can tell it’s built to last. It holds a generous amount of produce, and the design is sleek and practical. I love the adjustable speed feature, which lets you control the power depending on what you’re blending—perfect for everything from smoothies to tougher ingredients. Overall, it’s a great value for money. If you’re looking for a blender that combines performance, durability, and a solid design, this is definitely a smart choice.

It performs similarly to those top-tier, brand-name blenders for smoothies but at a much more affordable price. This blender is powerful, easy to use, and makes perfectly smooth smoothies every time. The motor effortlessly crushes ice and blends frozen fruit, ensuring a consistent, creamy texture. The self-cleaning feature is another standout—just add water and a drop of soap, run the blend cycle, and it’s clean. No need to deal with the hassle of putting the pitcher in the dishwasher, which I love. The 68oz pitcher is spacious, and it feels durable and sturdy, unlike some cheaper models that can feel flimsy. It’s the perfect size for family smoothies or meal prepping. Overall, I’m impressed with the value this blender offers. It’s an excellent blender for smoothies that combines power, ease of use, and great design without the luxury price tag. If you’re looking for a professional blender that performs like the high-end ones but without the cost, this is a fantastic choice.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Owning a Vitamix blender was a goal for ages, and I finally got this one almost 3 years ago. This awesome blender still works like it did when it was new. I’m a vegan and the value of an excellent blender really comes into play every day. This blender is so fast and powerful that it has no trouble making things like silky hummus and cashew cream. Smoothies blend thoroughly in just a few seconds. This Vitamix lets me make my own nut milks and turn pumpkin seeds or lentils into tofu. It’s opened a whole new world of cooking. This blender is so top notch that if you don’t want something blended into the consistency of a shake, like pesto for example, then you need to set it to low speed and don’t walk away to load the dishwasher or something. Just wait a moment and you’re done. Clean up is no problem with this Vitamix. They’re built with a smooth general surface and don’t have annoying gaps that fill with liquids. Just a heads up on use – I start mine on the lowest speed then turn up the power to blend. It only takes a second and avoids the jolt of 0-100 instantly. In any case, I haven’t experienced any sort of leakage with this awesome Vitamix and everything fits perfectly. Three years in and I’m still so happy with my Vitamix blender. Never had any problems with it. There is a reason that Vitamix has a loyal fan base. Yes, they’re more expensive upfront but it’s saved me a small fortune too. I haven’t needed to replace or repair anything. Prior to getting the Vitamix, my blenders were not the inexpensive type and they still only lasted a year at most. Vitamix is the best blender you can buy.
Customer Review: It’s the best blender without any bells and whistles. Pricey but again it is the BEST. It is THE restaurants’ standard peace of equipment that last decades under heavy use, and restaurants will use this machine more in a week than you will in a lifetime. You most-likely will never need another blender (at least not for 15-20+ years) The design coupled with its power gives you smoothe and most consistent results. If you get into making, smoothies, purees, nuttbutters, or any blending (like soups, refried beans, and even hummus) you can’t get much better outside of some fancy setting/buttons (which I find unnecessary) and maybe some safety features/failsafes (which again, I also don’t find necessary, because a good rule of thumb too not stick your hand in it while on the motor…) The only con I have is it is tall and usually doesn’t fit in spaces between the counter and cupboard when you put the blender on the motor. Easy solution just pull the motor out so it isn’t under the cupboard. I do wish my cupboard are hight so i can have the whole blend just chilling on the counter like my Toaster. But I just do that with the bottom motor and store rest of the blender away. I would have gone for a shorter blender, but this size gives me opinions making it less of a hassle when I do need to blend more or if i need to make more than 1 or 2 smoothies. Plus I find the narrowing design towards the bottom of the blender helps with the product. Personally this size is just right for all my bending projects and it fits in most standard dishwashers, if blitzing some soapy water doesn’t already do the trick. So IF you are finding yourself needing a bender, wish your smoothies felt more like SMOOTHies rather and Slushie from a certain drive-in, or want a better consistency for purees and have a easier time makingemulsions . Your journey ends here. Disclaimers: -Obviously this an investment, but if you want a great appliance this is a “buy once cry one” kind of purchase. If you DO NOT have a blender, think of how (or if) a blender be helpful to you. If your not satisfied with your cheaper bender, it’s probably because it isn’t a vitamix or at least not the 5200 -With the Vitmix 5200 blender MAKE A HABIT of always turning the dial to 1 and flip the switch to “Variable” before and after turning it on. The power of this bad boy need a little bit of responsibility. Flipping it on while it is switched on “High” or dialed to a “10” (especially without a lid) can splatter all over the place. -This blender is also loud, you won’t suffer earing damage but you’ll get an earful if a baby is sleeping in the next room. Also, Late night smoothies can also run the risk of head trauma if you have a wife… blend responsibly.

- The single-serve cups have a smaller capacity than a full-size jar.
Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I have had this several months now and I absolutely love it. I make smoothies daily and went through several cheaper brands that broke after a few months. This one has held up and does a great job blending frozen fruit and crushing ice. I love that I can wash the parts in the dishwasher and haven’t had any issues doing so. We have other ninja appliances and they have never disappointed us. The attachments are great and the blades are sharp. I look forward to my smoothie every day and this makes it easy and fast. It is on the louder side but that is to be expected with such a powerful motor.
Customer Review: This blender is extremely powerful and works perfectly for smoothies, frozen fruits, and even tougher ingredients. I love the versatility of having both the large pitcher and the single-serve cups, which makes it very convenient for daily use. The results are smooth and consistent every time. It’s easy to clean and feels very sturdy and well made. Overall, an excellent blender that is worth the investment.

Why We Recommend It
Not everyone needs the cavernous 90 oz jar. This 75 oz option hits a sweet spot for home users who regularly make 2-4 smoothies at a time. It’s easier to lift, store, and clean than the larger jar, and as an off-brand part, it offers substantial savings. Reviews indicate it’s a high-quality, perfectly functional replacement that restores your blender to like-new blending capacity without the OEM cost.
Best For
Blendtec owners with consumer models who need a replacement jar and find the 90 oz size excessive. Ideal for smaller households (2-4 people) making daily smoothies, sauces, or light dough.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- More manageable size than the 90 oz jar for everyday home use.
- Significant cost savings over an official Blendtec replacement.
- Perfect, direct-fit compatibility with consumer Blendtec models.
- Includes all necessary parts (blade, lid) for a complete replacement.
- 75 oz capacity is still very generous for most family needs.
Cons:
- The included lid is often noted as feeling less substantial than the original Blendtec lid.
- Long-term durability, while good, may not match the 10+ year life of an OEM jar.
- Not compatible with the commercial Connoisseur/Stealth models (which use different jar interfaces).
Customer Reviews
Customer Review: This container is a good replacement if you dont want to buy OEM from Blendtec. Works great. I replaced my original jar that I had been using for almost 10 years. The bearings went out. This one is just as good! Highly recommend. The size of 75oz is perfect for large batches
Customer Review: Best blender I’ve ever owned. (10 years so far) Great replacement pitcher so far. The lid is less substantial than the original, however, so, I kept the old lid on this new pitcher. I hope this one lasts as long as the original one did.
10. Blendtec 90oz WildSide+ Replacement Jar
This is the ultimate third-party replacement for the iconic Blendtec WildSide+ jar. Crafted from premium BPA-free, food-grade plastic and featuring reinforced stainless steel blades, it’s engineered to match the performance of the original at a significantly lower cost. With a full 90 oz capacity and clear measurement markings, it’s the go-to choice for Blendtec owners who need the largest jar for big-batch smoothies, soups, or dough and want to save money on the replacement.
Key Features That Stand Out

- ✓ Clear Measurement Markings: Ounce, cup, cl, and ml markings for precise recipes.
- ✓ Huge Cost Savings: Typically 40-50% less than the official Blendtec WildSide+ jar.
Why We Recommend It
For owners of the Blendtec Designer or Professional series (which use the WildSide+ jar), this is the best-value replacement on the market. Users report it’s “better than the original” in some cases and works perfectly. The 90 oz capacity is a major selling point for making large quantities, and the construction feels robust. If your original WildSide+ has cracked or worn out, this is the most economical way to restore your blender’s full capability.
Best For
Blendtec Designer/Professional series owners who have a damaged or lost 90 oz WildSide+ jar and want a high-quality, direct-fit replacement that saves them nearly half the cost of the OEM part.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Massive 50% cost savings compared to the official Blendtec WildSide+ jar.
- Exact fit and function for Blendtec models that use the WildSide+.
- High-quality BPA-free plastic and reinforced blades feel durable.
- Users frequently report it works as well as or better than the original.
- Clear, comprehensive measurement markings on the jar.
Cons:
- The design lacks drainage holes on the bottom, so it holds water when washed upside down.
- As with all off-brand parts, there’s a small perceived risk of long-term compatibility.
- Does not fit the newer Stealth/Connoisseur commercial models (they use a different jar).
Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Want to save 50% vs the Blentec branded jar? Yeah I did too and it works perfectly. The only thing that was not that well thought out was that there are no drainage holes in the bottom of the jar that allows it to drain when placed upside down in the dishwasher so it always has a ton of water sitting on the top of it.
Customer Review: This is better than the original jar that came with the Blen~Tec blender. I hesitated to buy it and wish I had purchased it months earlier.

Choosing the right Blendtec blender hinges on three core factors: Power, Noise, and Jar Type. Power (measured in peak HP) determines what you can blend. For smoothies and frozen drinks, 2-3 HP is sufficient. For nut butters, hot soups, or commercial use, you need the 3.8 HP found in the Connoisseur and Stealth lines. Noise is a huge differentiator. The fully-enclosed Stealth series is dramatically quieter than open-base models. The Connoisseur’s sound dome offers a good middle ground. Finally, Jar Type matters. The massive WildSide+ (90 oz) is for large batches and commercial use. The FourSide (32 oz) is more versatile for multiple small batches. The classic 75 oz jar is the standard for home consumer models.
Budget Planning
There’s a Blendtec solution for every budget. If you want the absolute best and have a commercial budget, the Stealth 885 is the pinnacle. For a commercial-grade machine at a lower cost, the Connoisseur 825 with jars is outstanding value. If you already own a Blendtec base and just need a jar, third-party replacement jars (like the 90 oz WildSide+ or 75 oz) can save you 40-50%. For those on a tighter budget who still want pro-level power, the Countertop Blender Pro 2000W is a phenomenal alternative that borrows specs from the big boys. Remember to factor in the long-term cost: a Vitamix 5200 might cost more upfront but could be the last blender you ever buy.
Final Thoughts
The Blendtec brand stands for unmatched power and innovative design. The Stealth 885 is our top overall pick for its quiet operation and sheer capability, making it the best choice for commercial settings and noise-sensitive homes. If you’re on a tighter budget but still want commercial power, the Connoisseur 825 with Jars is the Editor’s Choice. And if your Blendtec’s jar has seen better days, a third-party 90 oz WildSide+ replacement is the smartest way to extend your blender’s life. For non-Blendtec alternatives that punch way above their weight, the Countertop Blender Pro and the legendary Vitamix 5200 are also exceptional picks, each serving a slightly different philosophy of blending.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is a Blendtec blender better than a Vitamix?
A: It depends on your priority. Blendtec generally offers more power (3.8 HP vs Vitamix’s typical 2.2 HP) and superior noise reduction technology in its commercial lines. Vitamix is often praised for achieving a slightly smoother texture with its narrow-container design and offers a more hands-on, “artisan” blending experience without pre-sets. For quiet commercial power, choose Blendtec. For absolute texture perfection and legendary longevity, many purists prefer Vitamix.
Q: How long do Blendtec blenders last?
A: With proper care, a Blendtec commercial blender can easily last 7-10 years or more in a high-use environment. The motors are built for continuous duty, and the patented blades are incredibly durable. The most common point of failure is the plastic jar, which can crack or develop bearing issues after years of use. This is why replacement jars are a popular and cost-effective purchase.
Q: Are third-party Blendtec replacement jars any good?
A: Yes, many are. Off-brand jars from companies like MRX Solutions have excellent reviews for fit and function. They use similar BPA-free plastic and stainless steel blades. They are a fantastic way to save 40-50% on a replacement. The main trade-off is that the long-term durability may not quite match an OEM Blendtec jar, and lid quality can be slightly inferior. For most home users, they are a perfect solution.
Q: What’s the difference between the WildSide+ and FourSide jars?
Q: Can a Blendtec blender make hot soup?
A: Absolutely. The immense friction generated by the high-speed blades (especially on the 3.8 HP models) can heat cold ingredients to steaming hot in about 5-6 minutes. Simply blend your soup ingredients on high for that time, and you’ll have a smooth, hot purée without turning on the stove. This is a hallmark feature of high-performance blenders.
Ultimately, the best Blendtec blender for you is the one that matches your specific needs for power, noise level, and batch size. Whether you choose the ultra-quiet Stealth 885, the value-packed Connoisseur 825, or a lifesaving replacement jar, you’re investing in a tool that can transform your kitchen.
